Owtside is a small, independent project built for one weekend. Here's the plain version of what we do with your info.

What we collect

• Your phone number, used only to sign you in (Clerk handles the SMS code).
• Whatever you put in your profile — name, affiliation, chapter, city, line info, profession, Instagram handle. All optional except your name.
• Which events you RSVP to and which tables you claim a seat at.
• Your connections — who you've scanned/been scanned by.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your info to anyone, ever.
• We don't send marketing texts — SMS is sign-in only.
• Attendee names and RSVP identity are only visible to people you're connected with (or, for tables, people seated with you). Attendance counts are public; who's attending is not, unless you're connected.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time from the Me tab. This removes your Clerk sign-in and marks your account deleted in our database — your profile stops being visible to anyone.

Blocking & reporting

You can block anyone from your Connections list, which hides you from each other everywhere in the app. You can also report a user or a table if something's wrong — reports go straight to the person running Owtside.
